When we moved here, Jaron found out that his cell phone provider had terrible reception in this area - so bad, in fact, that he wasn't getting reception in all areas of the hospital.
So Jaron got a new phone with another provider and I adopted his. My first "REAL," data-capable cell phone!
We were at the park one day and Alden asked me to take a picture of him. I mournfully said I didn't have my camera. He informed me I had a camera on my phone. Ha.
Aunt Cassy and Uncle Jarom got Reed that cute little ball chute for Christmas but they thought he would be interested in it now so he got to have it early. He absolutely loves it!
I have wanted a trampoline for more than a year now but my physician husband has just seen too many trampoline accidents come in so he's always been against it.
Then one day out of the blue he said, "Maybe we should get a trampoline."
So I ran out and bought one, before he could change his mind. :)
We LOVE it. And so do the kids. ;) It gives them something energy burning to do outside. The store we bought it from gave us the wrong brand of trampoline but I didn't realize it until we had set it up. At that point, it wasn't worth it to Jaron to take it apart for an exchange but the online reviews on this brand were terrible for the net surround. We decided to just simply not put it up and let our children grow up in the school of hard knocks like we did as kids. ;)
I absolutely adore this boy and he's in my favorite kid age - 12-18 months. They're so fun and are learning so much and are still relatively opinion-free at this age. He loves to help out around the house, as you can see. Alden says it means he's really a part of our family now. :D
And last, but not least, is this picture that will make me laugh forever. I made it extra large so we can all thoroughly enjoy it.
Orientation week for the residents here is in some ways a little, well, rural. During it they tour the cheese plant and a dairy and they "get" to do a pregnancy exam on a cow. Yes, that is Jaron with his arm ALL THE WAY into a cow's rectum. Awesome. And so gross. I don't know who I feel worse for - Jaron or the cow. ;)
